Programme curriculum

Over the duration of this online programme, you’ll work through three different sections that are designed to enhance your professional impact. The weeks consist of:

Meet and engage with your learning and peer networks as you navigate the Online Campus.
 

Section I

Week 1–8: Executive leadership

In section one, you’ll refine and develop your leadership style and purpose to align with your organisation’s strategic focus. You’ll also improve your ability to lead authentically, manage high-performance teams, explore core leadership themes, and become a driving force for change in your company.

Week 9: Programme break – Orientation to Enterprise leadership

Section II

Week 10–15: Enterprise leadership

In section two, you’ll learn the importance of strategic alignment in business. Over six weeks, you’ll identify your organisation’s purpose, assess what your organisation needs to succeed, and create a compelling vision for its future.

Week 16: Programme break – Orientation to Leading through uncertainty and disruption: Building resilient organisations

Section III

Week 17–23: Leading through uncertainty and disruption: Building resilient organisations

Finally, in section three, you’ll learn how to lead through uncertainty and disruption. Over six weeks, you’ll reflect on your own capacity for resilience, integrate resilience into organisational structures, and develop a strategic plan for enhancing it as a business leader.

Tim Morris

Emeritus Professor, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford

Tim Morris is a leading international expert in professional service firms (PSFs). His research on the role and development of CEOs in large corporations was launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and his work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, The Economist, Financial Times, CNN, and Forbes.

Jonathan Trevor

Associate Professor of Management Practice, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford

Jonathan is the authority on strategic alignment. He works extensively with executive leadership teams across the globe, and in all sectors, using his research to help transform organisations to be fit for purpose. This research is the subject of his book, Re:Align: A Leadership Blueprint for Overcoming Disruption and Improving Performance.

A noted management researcher, advisor, and speaker, Jonathan teaches on the Oxford MBA, the Executive MBA, and on international executive education programmes. His hands-on teaching approach makes complex academic concepts impactful and easy to understand.

Eleanor Murray

Associate Dean for Executive Education and Senior Fellow in Management Practice, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford

Eleanor is an expert in organisational resilience and holds extensive experience working in complex organisations and as a senior leader in the healthcare sector. In addition, Eleanor teaches on the MSc in Major Programme Management and contributes to online and on-campus international programmes for senior professionals.
